Goes Beyond Just Talking

Ready to take the  next step?

You Have a Good Life.
You Want Your Relationship to Feel Good, Too.

You may be successful in many areas of your life and still feel completely stuck when it comes to your relationship.
You've tried talking about it.
You've promised to communicate better.
You've tried date nights, giving each other space, being more patient, or simply hoping things would improve once life became less stressful.
But somehow, you keep ending up in the same place.

The problem may not be how much you love each other. It may be the patterns you've developed together—and patterns can change.

Small disagreements become big fights. One of you may push to talk while the other shuts down. Couples counseling can help you understand the communication patterns keeping you stuck and learn different ways to talk, listen, and respond to one another.

IMPROVE OUR COMMUNICATION

Relationship counseling can help you explore what's creating the distance and begin rebuilding friendship, affection, emotional intimacy, and physical connection.

WANT THERAPY

My Partner Doesn't Want Therapy
You don't necessarily have to wait for your partner to be ready.
Individual relationship counseling can help you understand your own patterns, emotional responses, boundaries, and choices—and identify changes you can make on your side of the relationship.

WE CAN'T AGREE ON HOW TO PARENT

Parenting differences are creating tension between you. You may disagree about discipline, boundaries, responsibilities, or how to handle the kids—and those disagreements are beginning to affect your relationship. Parenting and coparenting counseling can help you communicate more effectively, work as a team, and create a healthier family dynamic.

WE NEED COUNSELING THAT FITS OUR LIFE

Busy schedules, work, parenting, distance, or simply the convenience of meeting from home shouldn't keep you from getting support. Online relationship counseling gives you access to specialized therapy from the privacy and comfort of home, wherever you are in Florida.

Relationship Counseling Isn't Just Something We Offer.

 It's What We Specialize In.

If your relationship is one of the most important parts of your life, it makes sense to work with a therapist who specializes in relationships.

Couples therapy and marriage counseling require a different approach than individual therapy.

Your therapist isn't there to decide who's right, take sides, or simply listen while you repeat the argument you had at home.

We look at what happens between you.

What happens when one of you feels hurt?

Why does one person pursue while the other withdraws?

What are you each trying to communicate underneath the anger, criticism, defensiveness, or silence?

Why do the same conflicts keep resurfacing even after you thought you resolved them?

And most importantly:

What needs to change for your relationship to feel different?

Our relationship therapists have specialized training and experience helping couples navigate communication problems, emotional disconnection, intimacy concerns, infidelity, loss of trust, recurring conflict, and major relationship transitions.

Depending on your needs and goals, our therapists use research-informed approaches to couples counseling, including the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

You Don't Need Another Place to Have  the Same Argument

You probably already know what you're fighting about.

Couples counseling should help you understand why you keep getting stuck there—and what to do differently.

Our approach to relationship therapy is:

SPECIALIZED

Relationships are at the heart of our practice. Our therapists have training and experience specifically focused on helping individuals and couples create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

ENGAGED

We don't believe therapy should become an hour of venting. Your therapist will help you identify patterns, have different conversations, and practice new ways of responding to one another.

PRACTICAL

Insight matters, but so does knowing what to do when you get home. We help you develop tools you can use where your relationship actually happens—outside the therapy room.

Goal Oriented

Therapy should have direction. Together, we'll identify what you want to change and work intentionally toward those goals.

The goal isn't simply to understand your relationship better.
It's to experience your relationship differently.

 Meet Sofia Robirosa, LMFT.
A Practice Built
Around Better Relationships

We are so glad you're here.

We can't wait to get started working on your relationship goals.

I'm Sofia Robirosa, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, relationship expert, author, podcast host, wife, mother, and founder of Infinite Therapeutic Services.

My interest in relationships began long before I became a therapist.

As a teenager, I watched my parents' marriage gradually fade until they eventually separated. I couldn't understand how a marriage that seemed to have everything on paper could still fall apart.

That experience left me with a question that ultimately shaped my career:

What helps two people not only stay together—but create a relationship that remains connected and fulfilling as life changes around them?

That question led me to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and eventually build a practice centered on helping individuals and couples create healthier, more satisfying relationships.

My work has also extended beyond the therapy room. I'm the author of The Business of Marriage and host of the relationship podcast Infinite Intimacy, where I explore the conversations, patterns, and challenges that shape our closest relationships—and share practical insights for creating stronger, more connected partnerships.

Today, I've brought that same relationship-focused approach to a team of therapists with specialized training and experience helping individuals and couples navigate communication problems, emotional disconnection, intimacy concerns, infidelity, loss of trust, parenting challenges, and uncertainty about the future of their relationships.

We bring warmth and compassion into the therapy room, but we also recognize that you're investing your time, energy, and resources into counseling because you want something to change.

We're here to help you work toward that change.

Find the Right Therapist  for Your Relationship

The right therapeutic relationship matters.

Our team includes Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and other relationship-focused clinicians with different areas of expertise, personalities, and approaches.

Whether you're seeking couples counseling, marriage counseling, or individual relationship counseling, we'll help you find the therapist who best fits your relationship concerns, goals, preferences, and availability.

Frequently Asked Questions About Couples &   Relationship Counseling

How Do I Know If We Need Couples Counseling?

You don't need to wait until you're considering separation or divorce. Couples often seek counseling because they're having the same arguments, feeling emotionally disconnected, struggling with intimacy, recovering from betrayal, navigating a major life transition, or simply realizing that the relationship they have isn't the relationship they want.

Can Couples Counseling Help Us Communicate Better?

Couples counseling can help you recognize the patterns that make conversations escalate or shut down. Therapy can give you a space to practice expressing needs differently, listening more effectively, managing conflict, and repairing conversations when they don't go as planned.

Can Marriage Counseling Help After Infidelity?

Marriage counseling can provide a structured space to address the impact of an affair or betrayal, understand what happened, establish boundaries, and explore whether—and how—both partners want to work toward rebuilding trust.

What If My Partner Doesn't Want to Come to Couples Therapy?

You can still begin. Individual relationship counseling can help you understand your own patterns, responses, boundaries, and choices and explore changes you can make even if your partner isn't ready to participate.

Do You Offer Couples Counseling in Plantation, FL?

Yes. Our therapists provide in-person couples counseling, marriage counseling, and relationship therapy at our Plantation, Florida office.

Do You Offer Online Couples Counseling in Florida?

Yes. In addition to in-person relationship counseling in Plantation, our therapists provide online couples counseling for clients located throughout Florida.

How Do I Choose the Right Couples Therapist?

Look for a therapist who has specific training and experience working with relationships—not simply a therapist who occasionally sees couples.

Couples therapy requires understanding the patterns that develop between partners and knowing how to help both people feel heard without taking sides.

Our therapists have specialized training and experience in relationship counseling and use research-informed approaches based on each couple's needs and goals.

Finding the right personal fit matters, too. We'll help you identify the therapist on our team who may be best suited to your relationship and what you hope to accomplish.

What Happens During the First Couples Counseling Session?

Your first session gives your therapist an opportunity to understand your relationship, the concerns bringing you to counseling, each partner's perspective, the patterns affecting your relationship, and what you hope will be different.

From there, you'll begin establishing goals and determining the direction of your work together.

 Your Relationship is  Worth Understanding

You don't have to wait for another argument.

Another lonely night sitting next to each other.

Another promise that you'll work on things when life gets less busy.

And you don't have to know exactly how to fix your relationship before reaching out.

You simply have to know that you don't want to keep doing things the same way.

Tell us a little about what's happening. We'll help you determine which relationship therapist on our team may be the right fit for what you need.
